I like simple things. Yes. Though I like to take pieces out and put it in my own taste. Maybe that's why I chose to pursue an engineering course? Seriously, I don't know. Once, I met a guy in Taipei. He's owns a restaurant. He asked me what I'm studying. Then he told me he took systems engineering before. But now he isn't an engineer. He's a cook. He said to me,

"I rather do the things I like and have fun with it"
"I work longer hours being a cook, don't make much, but I do really enjoy what I do"

His words strikes me hard.
I always thought I was choosing the right path, not taking things due to friends. But now, I'm having second thoughts.

But yet, I have to keep moving. I can't stall to think such things. Let the game on. Welcome, second year, chemical engineering, Imperial College London. Let's face the new sun.

People can get so fanatic sometimes. I get what they are trying to say, but don't rub it in. We need to open our eyes more and see beyond what is given to us. It's no use taking things and throwing it back again. Like spoon feeding.

The whole friggin world is a mess. People fighting for power to prove something, and yet when they realise it, it's not easy to maintain stability. Think people, it is not easy to build something. Yet to knock it down only takes a few move.

Think of it as sand. You spent energy and time to create a sandcastle. To make it go away, wind is enough. The wind, carrying particles, which cause it to hit the sandcastle bit by bit. Over time, the sandcastle doesn't even resemble one anymore, but rather only a mere pile of sand.

Another weekend. Filled with half-assed studying and somewhat preparing for a test tomorrow? Ergh.
I'm sipping on milk, and on top of that, dunking the sweet tasting biscuits of oreo. I can't be bothered cooking dinner tonight.

As days passed by, food just gets less tasty. I added some spice to it, but it seem the food went too hot. I just hope it won't burn.

A week left till the end of term. Why oh why time just goes so fast. I still have work to do. Especially with chemistry..I don't understand anything lately about it. It just gets blurry and blurry. Lucky chem eng is like 20% chemistry only.

Life as you know it ain't fun anymore when you grow up. It just gets worse and worse. The things is enlightening me now are only religion, family, and her. Her. Happy as can be. :)

p/s: I'm in a weird transient state of emotion lately. I don't know what to expect. HAHAHA.

Blind man

I saw a man. A man with a walking stick. Blind. Tapping his way along the streets beside Royal Albert Hall.
My eyes followed him for a while. He swings the stick back and forth, left and right, trying to 'feel' what's in front of him.
He was on the ledge. He brought forth his stick foward, mananging his way off the ledge. In a second or so he managed to get off the ledge, onto the tar road. Afterwards, he continued for a few steps, before coming to another halt. The end of his stick hit a solid barrier. It was actually the ledge, again. Soon, he turned back and kept finding his way. Sad. For me, it reflects life. Not knowing the direction, not seeing what your suppose to see.

When I think about it, I'm very grateful for the vision and sight that Allah has gave to me.

So be grateful for what you have and quit complaining. :D

SO FREEZING TODAY.
I thought it's spring already, but it seems that the temperature plunges down below 5C again. I had to cycle in the freezing wind, feeling like a loser who cannot breathe properly. Seriously it felt as I was choking or something.

I know I know, why did you take it. Apparently it's CORE. Yes yes engineers has to know everything.

I kept thinking about the two ends of the generation. The new, and the old. Life's funny somehow. With everything that is going on now in the world, people seem to love this wretched place.

Lately I'm thinking things too much. Much of it of the future. What will the future bear for us? Seeing time pass by so fast each day, and I mean REALLY fast, it makes me think that I'll live short.

Is life short? I don't know. Perhaps it depends on the relative time frame of where we at. It could be that time running slow for you. Again, as I said to myself every week: "it's friday already". 1 month left till the end of term. I can't believe that 2 months has passed by just like that.

On top of everything, I managed to sort out my time properly..well at least I think I did. I didn't even get a chance to do the tutorials.

Note to everyone, unless you are a loser who wants to study 24/7, do not come and study here. The only thing I see and hear every morning from the intelegent students:
"have you done MATLAB?"
''have you done the tutorial?'
even worse:
"oh that one is easy"
seriously, no effin' life or something.

Oh by the way, I know now how people survive in uni:
it's either you work your ass off, or
you find a friend and make use of the friend and copy stuff from him.

At times, I see children running around. It makes me think how I wasted my childhood, always thinking it's better being an adult. Stepping into the 20s ain't easy. Without even realizing it (till now), I'm just carrying a massive amount of responsibility. I keep thinking, I'm growing too fast. TIME it self is passing by so fast.

Death is surrounding me closer now than ever. Each and everyone that I know seems to be passed away faster than what I expected. Yes death visits us 70 times each day, and lately..it felt close. Gives me the chill.

At the same time of this life, new babies are born, the next generation. Even I'm expected to be an uncle in the next few months. I see life is created, I see how parents and children bond together, I see life goes on.

That's it. The cycle of life. We live and die.

Just a pointless night rambling.

I suppose nobody reads my blog anymore.

Sorry for the lack in update. I've been busy with work.

It's been a while since I updated this thing. New term, new year, seriously a headache. Few more months left till the finals, then I'll go back. WTF it's only roughly 3.5months here. Seriously UK is boring. Unless you start partying and drinking in which I suppose rather a worthless waste of time and money.

The thing is, that's what they do here every weekend. It's like a cycle. I don't know how they managed NOT to get bored with such a social life like that. So instead of following their footsteps, I bought a new guitar to keep me occupied during boring and free time.

I bought the cheap ones. It's not worth it to buy it expensive as I'm going to play in my room anyway. The whole set would total up to about £300.

OK. Now I feel running out of money. Damn it. There's still some, but I just hope the sponsors won't delay the money transfer.

So tiring.

Observing people here from the behavior's perspective made me realize why I use to hate people. Man, damn emo. LOL.

I need to restructure my life.

Somehow it's seems to follow the chaos theory.

All right people I got some work to do (in which I never finish). Toodles.

OK. Too much mistakes that I made during this first term here. Cost me too much. I have to change my attitude by the second term, or otherwise I fall behind quite bad.

Mistakes:
1. I forgot to prioritise the things I want to do. Whether to have fun, sight-seeing or work, oh man I forgot to put lines between those boundaries.

2. I didn't do much of the tutorials sheet given. And that messed up a lot. After a few tries of it (even though it is f'in hard), everything seems to clear up.

3. Too much time in front of laptop. Wastes time a lot. So I try to multitask everytime I use a computer.

4. I don't know, but I feel that I sleep too much here compare to Malaysia.

AIM:
CHANGE ALL OF THESE ATTITUDES IN ORDER TO NOT FALL BEHIND!

Another weekend has passed by. Time just fly so fast here. Up till now, it's already two months living in London. But then mum said it's been a long time since I left Malaysia. I know she misses me :D.

Got another week before Christmas test is up. I have to change my attitude. I can't just waste time like that. I have a goal to reach. I shall reach that goal with every mentality that I got. I just need sometime to readjust my self.

It was snowing here last week. Not that excited. It's friggin' cold especially if someone throws some onto your face. Snow also slows down my walking speed due to slippery parthway. The other day I nearly slipped.

Although now the snow has melted. HAHA.
So quick.

Hey all!
Another boring Sunday is here (even with tons of work).
It's not snowing here in London. It's good.
Why?

1. It saves me my money. I don't have to spend my pounds on boots, and much thicker winter clothing.
2. It also saves me money because I do not have to spend £44 on monthy bus travelpass. I can use my bike without any slippery road when there's no snow. I also can walk through these harsh weather without worrying about soggy feet.
3. I can save much more time riding bike than taking a bus. It takes me 10mins on bike and 40mins (peak hour) on bus. WHAT THE HELL MAN?

It's boring here in London. DON'T COME TO LONDON!

OKAY.
Finally there's a time for update. Not that I'm busy or anything, I'm just searching something new here.

As of today it's about a month and two weeks in London. One thing is, I don't like the situation here in London. The houses are "old school" unlike in other places. I'm not into those classical things by the way, so forgive me for saying London is boring. But for those who goes clubbing might be fun for them. Perhaps thats why they say London is the best.

I'm not into city life also by the way. I hate here how hectic the traffic goes and there's tonnes of people walking around escpecially during weekends in Oxford Street. I prefer a subtle, away from the city life.
I hate how everything is far here, and we have to take the bus or the tube to go somewhere. AND IT'S COSTLY. So to those who are applying university, it is important to take this into account. Don't make the same mistake as I did :) .

Apart from the hatred, the are also some things I like. I don't know why, but I enjoy hearing lectures in Imperial College. The lecturers are good. You get the best education here. The downside is that, Imperial College main campus is in South Kensington, which is one of the riches places to live in the world. So it's hard to get an affordable place to stay that is close by. Most are about 20-30mins of walking. It can be hell if it starts raining =-=".

Everyday I walk through Hyde Park to get to class, which is entertaining. The park is big (the biggest in central London). There's many to see, and many to avoid (anjing!). Hyde park is quite beautiful as well.

There's many shops here in London, so good for the shopping freaks to visit.

Also, people here are not friendly. =-="

Discovered lots here. It's true. You tend to see more problems in life when you are abroad.

I don't miss nasi lemak, but then I miss lemak cili api :(

Ergh this laptop lags so much when dealing with picture works.
I didn't sleep yesterday. I spent my time after sahur changing layout for somehow.
I deleted some widgets to keep this blog from slow retrieval speed.

I'm still having mix feeling about flying off to overseas. There's that fun, sad, ~~wacked out insanity~~ and loads more.

After sending off two of my friends to Canada yesterday, I finally realize, only a month left with family.
For the past few weeks, I kept feeling down and felt like I don't want to fly.

I have no idea what to pack yet. I wanna wait for the halls first, then see what to bring.
I'm quite worried actually. Being away from family (like I haven't done it before) this time is not easy. WHO'S GONNA COOK FOR ME? I don't wanna cook.I can cook, but seriously I'm friggin' lazy.

for the past 20 years of my life, I faced through many things. Though most of my life I felt that I've been blessed by Allah. Owe a lot to Him for everything he gave me, including tests, wealth and well being. It's what make me a better man. Alhamdulillah.

This year many events occurred.
IB exam.
Umrah.
My brother's wedding.

and soon to come I'll be leaving this to further my studies in UK.
like I said, most of my life, I felt that my task has been eased with the willingness of Allah.

only less than two years learning for PMR, I still managed to get 8As. Though I hardly understand a thing. (perhaps due to the language barrier at that time)
For as long as I can remember at that time, I'm not a bright student during the primary years.

then somehow I got into MRSM Jasin. Actually, I was about to move to another school at that time, and I got sick of moving schools again. So I requested to go for boarding school. lol
From my generalisation, every two years, I will move to another school.
Kinda funny how I got Jasin. During the pre-entrance test, I didn't what the hell I answered. But I managed to finish the 100 questions. :D

Moving on to life in Jasin, first sem, I got above 3.50. It's kinda funny because I got no clue what the hell I studied.
Upon SPM, I got straight A's still. (EST A2)
Despite my lack of knowledge in Malay, I still got A1 :D

Then, left for KMB. Aiyo Malay again. Sastera lak tuh.
Exam pon dpt 6 je keje. Seb bek 6. Kalau kene 4 cam sem1, sakit gak la. Huhu.

To cut the story short..soon I'll be leaving for Imperial College London insyaAllah.

Twirling, spinning rapidly. I wish I was in the eye of the hurricane. The outer curve are full of debris, flying relentlessly towards anything in their path. It can pierce you anywhere it wants. The brain, the eyes and even the heart. But then victim's body can undergo into a shock state, where they don't feel anything much of the pain (i presume). I rather go into shock. But then it is better to stay in the eye.

According to astrophysicist, the universe is theorized to how it is formed in the beginning.
For me, the theory is said to has started from a finite space and expands very large state that made us unable to calculate the real size of the universe. There's like three types of universe, open, flat or closed, but who cares, just take the general.

Problems are in similar, can be put in the same manner. Destruction of a building can be caused by a simple misplaced bolts, annihilation of particles-antiparticles caused by simple collision, a patient died because a doctor forgot to change/clean the catheter, and heck, there are so many possibility. Everything starts from a small change which results in major chain reactions.

That's how life goes perhaps. A simple thing made complicated.

If the expansion of a universe relates with matters, then escalation of a problem can be related to how the way people think.

Humans have always been revolved to "think outside the box". Well surprisingly people are making such good efforts to follow this.
But then, it would be better to think, the box do no exist. Can you dig it?

People should lessen their whining and live with things that exists. See the things that's coming also. I don't get it when one makes a hassle of such/some thing.
I don't get it when people remind you to do things yet they don't manage to do it.

Ok, it's Friday already. Somehow this week went a little too fast. I didn't realize it was Thursday yesterday. This week I ran into a little trouble regarding the BTN. Luckily I still managed to go for the second session. It's somewhere in Tanjung Rhu, Sepang.

Enough about that.

Two weeks already. I'm still friggin' bored people. I got a new pair or runners, but still my lazy ass wouldn't get itself working. It's a fat farm this holiday. Crap. Perhaps you can think of me being in a vegetable state, can't move around. I'm not a damn sloth though :).

I guess I'm having the fever or something. My head's been banging like hell.

Argh I need something new. An electric guitar maybe? Haha. Guess I can't buy it now, it would be hard to transport it later on. (kalau la fly =.=" )

I don't want to say it's the end yet till I know my results in July. I'm quite worried over it actually. Especially my physics paper, I did bad, plus I'm also moderated for IA. So, whatever happens, I'm not saying it's the end of IB yet. But for KMB life, yes.

The last day in KMB was quite tiring though. After I finished the last paper, there was so much to do. Somehow I managed to talk to my pure math and statistics teacher, Pn Siti and Pn Arni.
Actually, somehow Amir and I managed to dig in some of the information about universities. Up until now, I still have no idea where to go. BLANK. So these few days, I'm just gonna do some research. =.="

Well, finishing KMB, I still managed to save a few bucks to spend. :D
But seriously, it's only the second day, and I so damn bored. Surprisingly, I'm not even at home yet. I'm in KL at my grandma's house. Still have things to attend and do. But the best thing coming here is that my brother bought a new monitor for the desktop computer. 32-inches and playing Resident Evil 5. What could be better? I miss DOTA though. Can somebody download v1.24e switcher for me? :)

The last day was tiring, since I've got tonnes of things in my rooms. Once before I cleaned it, I found several picks, and now on that last day, I found many coins lying around in my room. Just my luck I guess. For clearance, I didn't have to pay anything, except for RM10. I don't get it, the night before, the astrocard was there. The next day, it was gone. WTH is wrong with the world?! The f'ing card can be terminated anytime!MORON.

I thought of doing something for the last day. It turned out we only lit the papers with fire for entertainment. Seriously, macam dah tak ada hala tuju. Amir started the fire, and yet Manul was blamed for it. Quite funny though. The night finished with me dosing off at somewhat 4a.m and woke up with the sound of wardens (rokiah specifically) yelling "CLEARANCE".

Well, two days have passed, and I'm really, really bored. Can't get a job yet since this month is quite busy for me.
ARGH. I've got 2.5k and I don't know what to do with it.
Anyways,
I'm gonna have to go to KMB sometimes in July to collect the affidavit letter.

yesterday (march 28) i had an interview with Imperial College London in Traders Hotel.
everything went well. I think.

by the way, he said that I got the offer. but then he will notify through UCAS a bit late, so I'm a little skeptic about it. IF I DO really got the offer then, Alhamdullilah :)

Finally, after a sleepless month, all works are at end.

Less than 3 months left, and it seems that around this and next week, most of my friends are boarding the plane already.

And where am I at? KMB.

I just hoping that everything goes well with the IB assignments.

Another 3 gruesome months, then 1 month of exams, then finish everything already.

For nearly the past 2 years, lots of friends are made. Although sometimes we go through quarrels, I meant no hard feelings.

so looks like the destruction wave of the far-away comet shows no sign of hitting Earth. Was the comet melted by Sun or took another detour? For all I know the Sun still warms up Earth.

On Friday, on the way back from KMB to home, I saw something weird. I dunno if it's weird or not, but it is the first time I saw it though. I saw a chicken somehow manages to lift itself up at about 45-degrees angle or more and flew like 5-10 metres high from the road to a hill. I mean, wtf?

Right. That's just lame.

Today for somehow this broadband receive no 3g signal from the Maxis tower. Yeah stupid Maxis. So I spent the whole day watching TV. now my eyes hurts =.=". I tested out the new scooter my sister got for PMR. Bapak tak bes bawak skuter. Patut la abang aku komplen lepas bawak balik dari kedai ke rumah. Seriously I want a superbike or at least a harley. A harley will stay cool for generations :D

Ok that's for future plans.

Life is crazy as usual. I wouldn't say it's eccentric, but, somehow I'm seeing things that I've never thought of seeing in life.
Scrap that. That's what I'm feeling in my head right now, like man trying to self destruct.
I hate people. OK I'm not ripping that off Afif's blog. REALLY. These people tends to piss me off at the wrong time. I hate how people don't have any consideration towards people's feelings. I hate how people are just trying to piss me off all the time.
I hate pleasing people, even if I know they won't please me back. People are just pricks and bastards.
I love to push my problems and angry thoughts into a deep hole. I wished that hole were a black hole, or a bottomless pit. But it seems that the hole has a limit.
Truthfully, I'm a ticking time bomb. Don't be my next victim. I don't just burst into anger when I lose it. I'll do more than that. I'll be a nut-job punching your face the next minute. It's been years since the last outbreak, and there's just to much that the hole can bear.
Oh what the hell I'm blabbering on about. :)

It's time like this that everybody goes haywire. People are commenting on Facebook with themselves, people tend to get grouchy much easier, screaming, sleeping, sleep walking, and much more. It's actually funny though.

Next Thursday is the final SEM 3 exam, and I barely read a thing. Flunking this test would be nice, and the chances are high as the Burj Dubai. One week of exam, then I'm free!! Oh wait, scratch that, there's loads of work to complete, and it's piling like the crap. One month of holiday to complete everything. GREAT.

It's funny how people expect themselves to be treated nicely but they themselves treat other people like shit. They say that they treat people nicely, but hey, mirror your ass before you say that. It's dumb how people assume things as their head say so without finding out the truth. It's even worse if you are immature and you don't even realise it. As far as people and their shitty behavior, just treat them the equally. We are a human being, with capability to think. If you don't use it, you're just the same as other animals.

What people see isn't what it seems. Take an apple for example. Its glowing red skin attracts you to picking it up, feeling it, and then it finally goes into your mouth. Your head tells you, "oh what a succulent feeling this fruit will be". Until in the end you realise that a taste of bitter hits your taste bud, which makes you want to puke. You now take it out of your mouth, despising that bitter taste, and your eyes rolls around to see what's wrong with the apple. Then, you see the rotten black degrading flesh of that apple, which makes you despise of it. Perception plays role when we see things, like the saying goes "seeing is believing". Now, try putting it the other way around.

People tend to see things and judge it based on what they have seen, which makes them think "oh I’m right, I’m always right". Well that kind of bullshit does happens to people who themselves are bullshits. I'm not trying to be hypocritical here, for me myself tends to do that sometimes, but doing it full time, you are just being an ass. What you see is not what you believe, for mankind is not a moving metal part doing whatever they was programmed to do. The world you see is not like the electrons, swarming and spinning the continuously around the nucleus. The world is more like how the annihilation of positrons and electrons occur. The existence of positrons always ends with electrons, colliding, destroying themselves. But you must know that, not everything just ends like that. The human behaviour is like the quarks. Different combinations of up, down, strange charms and few more, makes up different sub particles, nor elementary particles. Bond between human is rather more or less like gluon. Sometimes people just stick, and some just aren't. The diversity of human behaviour makes the world an interesting place to live, to struggle, to bear, and perhaps, to survive. If all were to be the same, what good is it?

The electrons spin around the nucleus, the moon spins around the Earth, the Earth orbits around the Sun, and the sun revolving around the Milky Way. But the world damn world does not revolve around you. You, whoever you are, men or women, as an individual, the surroundings do not play around you, but others also. The brain works how it supposes to, but the way we think is more important rather than to accept every single crap your brain tells you.

It seems a long time since I updated this blog of mine. Truthfully, I don't know what to say. I've been busy like satan whispering on an imam's ear telling him to do sin. I have lots of piling crap to finish, and it's already near the end of semester 3 already.

Today, I flunked my math test. YES, and i'm not lying. Out of all the question, I managed to finish 1a. Not to say , my stats paper is like regurgitating last night's burger on it. Damn. I was hoping for a gain in marks this semester. But then, I'm screwed.

Things to do this month:
-send first draft EE, at least with intro and system background done. lucky my name isn't called in the assembly.

-study for sem3 exam, which is practically impossible with all the damn workload

-tok essay and presentation. it's all in a mess.

Today my head feels awful. That retched feeling of pain in the head came by as I woke up today. Took a shower, still feeling ill, so I continued my sleep again since I can't eat no painkiller.
After that beauty sleep, still my head feels like my brain got caught on fire.
So after breaking fast, I decided to go to Kajang for a checkup. Took a blood test, knowing that everything is ok. But later, I had to lie on the bed, with my ass seen, poked with the needle. Now half my ass feels awful. I walk as half my ass feels sore. Lucky I got plenty of fats in my ass, otherwise that needle would of been painful.

So lame man. Baru hari pertama puasa, dah demam. Macam muallaf la lak tak pernah puasa dahulu.
I think I know where I managed to get this flu.
Untuk orang yang share nasi lemak dengan aku tuh, thank so much la. Kerana anda aku demam hari ni. You know who you are :).

Yes I'm changing my templates.

It has been a while since I changed it, perhaps over a year. I'm too lazy to change it since every time I do it, I keep loosing those damn widgets.
For somehow I like this template.

The igloo, the the eskimo fishing, ice, these things kind of portray me of who and what I am.
But seeing at different sides, it kind of makes me look like a misanthropic (thanks to the person who taught me this word :) ) guy.

There's a few things I'd notice a change of pace with technology, especially when it comes to handphones:

The existance of camera handphone has lead to 'camwhoring' anywhere possible. Especially in the toilet. Back then who wants to take pictures in the toilet with your polaroid, film or other cameras.
The existance of handphone has lead to 'walking cancer' whereby a person is always on the phone nearly 24/7. Why don't they just cellotape the handphone to their ears. Or better yet. SUPERGLUE it.
The existance of handphone also lead to those fancy handphone bags in the market. My oh my, those things are like piece of garbage to me and for somehow, girls likes it. It's a friggin' hassle taking your phone in and out of the thing. Can't wait to see what happens if y'all are in trouble, desperately unzipping the thing with your tremendous shaking.
There's more and more reason for youngsters to beg mothers to buy them handphone. For me, I got it like, when I was 12, and I hardly beg, I think. But then, existance of handphone is more likely to decrease the lifespan of a human in the future. THAT DOESN'T COUNT FOR THE OTHER FACTORS YET
Camera handphone also leads to amateur porn videos by teenagers and other people who's involve. Why the hell do you want to capture yourself making out and then spread it to people?? What are you all a moron? You people make me sick.
Since the invention of handphone, SMS line and cheap SMS rate or better yet, SUPERSAVERS, it seems that one's thumb has become more and more stronger than the previous generation. I'll bet, in the next few generations, or perhaps there already is, people can do push ups by only using merely their thumbs. Can't wait to try that.
Those who spends money to buy phone games, are useless. Just find it on the Internet smart guy, there's always freeware.
The use of traditional alarm clock nowdays has decrease. Nowadays I have to wake up listening to songs like "Thunder" or "Dancing in the Moonlight" or "Dear Maria, Count Me In" for an alarm clock, thanks 'sooo' much to my roommate. Why can't I wake up to a cookoo or natural alarm bell sound or something.

First day of holiday, I'm bored already. Sorry. :(

is much fun to do when you are in exams
thats what i did

thats why i flunked stats perhaps
remembering the old days where i cheated in exams
it made me think

i should add more technique into cheating in exams
the convenctional ones:

1. writing on arms
2. bringing notes into exams
3. for objective, use the casio calculators for A B C D and show to friends
4. go to the toilet while exam expecting there will be books for reference
5. ask your neighboring friend by writing on the question paper and then erasing it

here are all that i did
(except 1 and 2)
only did this in form 5 especially subjects that require reading the most
and i can only remember doing it in history papers

but then now, i have new exciting techniques that perhaps one should try someday in kmb

1. write notes gdc (very tiring)

2. write notes in handphone and use it during trip to toilet

3. find handphones with high pixels camera and capture picture of important pages in guidebooks, and use it during trip to toilet

someday i like to try it, cuz i have tonnes of notes in form of pictures in my phone
but then

i'm hating this runny nose.
not well for the past few days, but i make the most out of it.

almost 0% sleep in class.
compared to jasin 100% 95% sleep.
